The Benton City Council meets the 1st Thursday of each month at 10am. The meetings are held at 6496 US-411 (City Offices building).
The City of Benton is the County Seat of Polk County, and has a population of 1,532 according to the 2020 census. We supply our residents with several services, including police, volunteer fire, water, waste water, sanitation and street maintenance. The City employs 15 people, two auxiliary officers.
