The Polk County Beer Board is a board formed under state law by the Polk County Commission. It is comprised of three full time voting members and two alternate members.
Its duties include granting permit applications for on and off sale of beer where an applicant is entitled under state law. It also has the duties of denying, suspending, revoking or imposing civil fines on permits where the licensed business or person has violated either state law or procedures under local regulations.
